Our children’s group for primary school age children meets in the church halls every Sunday during the morning service (except for the first Sunday of the month when we worship together as a whole church). We aim to follow the lectionary in an age-appropriate way using ‘Roots’ resources https://www.rootsontheweb.com/discover-roots
If your child prefers to stay with you through the service, there are always activities for children in the Church. These will be colouring and puzzle sheets linked to the service theme or to the church season and can be enjoyed at children’s tables, where there is also a toy and book box, or in the pew with family.
We welcome babies and toddlers to our services.
There is a toy and book box at the back of the Church where parents and children can be together and there is also a crèche room where the service can be heard if you need some time out of the main church space. The crèche room is heated and carpeted and has toys suitable for younger children.
We have nappy changing facilities available in the church and the church-halls toilets.
